This Thursday and Friday in Belgrade’s Center for Promotion of Science, Ekofungi presented the Waste to Taste concept to Belgrade’s young minds. We showed that mushroom production is one solution for society to better manage its waste and put them to productive use, learning from nature’s example. Together, we made substrate from coffee waste, wood chips, and straw and inoculated it with oyster mushroom. We packed the substrate in small growing bags as a gift to our audience.
